Essential Functions of this role:
As a customer-focused technical product expert, the Reiser Technicians will apply highly developed troubleshooting, mechanical and electrical skills, and sound knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic control systems to install new machinery, conduct routine and preventative maintenance, and machine repair service to our customers in the Great Lakes Region.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
· Travel overnight during the week (Mon-Fri) approximately 40%-50% to customers in ND/MI/MN/WI and Chicago but home every weekend. The majority of your time will be spent in Chicago and Southern Wisconsin. Overnight travel will be slightly higher during your first year as you receive extensive training on our machinery.
· Read diagrams, schematic drawings, engineering specifications and service manuals to determine work procedures.
· Engage with customer onsite, analyze equipment performance, troubleshoot to isolate problem, and determine actions needed to restore system to performance specifications.
· Share information with team members, customers, and your supervisor to help prioritize and keep customer apprised of corrective actions and equipment status.
· Inform customers of routine preventive maintenance techniques.
· Participate as necessary in new projects to install or improve the safety and performance of existing and new equipment.
Requirements:
Requirements:
· Three plus years of maintenance experience -- servicing, troubleshooting and repairing electro-mechanical automated machinery.
· Experience with food processing and/or packaging machinery is highly desirable.
· Practical application of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and techniques to ensure equipment performance at manufacturers specifications.
· Advanced knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic power systems, conveyor systems, or control systems.
· Initiative, critical thinking, complex problem solving, judgement and decision making, persistence, attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility, concern for others and leadership.
· Ability to travel overnight 40%-50%during the week (Mon-Fri).
· Bilingual English-Spanish skills are a bonus.
