Job Description

Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler (X2)
Pay Rate: $20-$22/hr.
Location: Milford, MA 01757
Duration: Temp to Perm
Shift: 1st Shift M-F 7:30am-4:00pm

Summary:

The Electro-Mechanical Assembler works in a one-piece flow cell performing bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and subassemblies, using hand tools. This is for specialized computers and displays and requires assembling ESD sensitive delicate components and cables.

Responsibilities:

Function in Lean manufacturing environment, adding value by reducing waste.
Understands Assemble/test parts using drawings, bill of material.
Knowledge of cable and harness assembly methods, including crimping is required
The ability to use common hand and power tools may require use of specialized tools
Follow documented procedures in fitting, adjusting and proper functioning of parts
Meet job completion and ship dates
Reports on defective materials or questionable conditions to the production supervisor
Maintain good housekeeping of area
Assist in other manufacturing cells as required
Assembly requires medium-to-heavy lifting, up to 30 lbs.
