Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-minded Production Operator to support the assembly and configuration of medical device products, including handheld electronics. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a strong focus on product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute production processes for mobile device assembly and configuration
- Follow approved work instructions, SOPs, and quality standards (FDA 21CFR, ISO 13485, cGMP)
- Perform testing using touchscreens, fixtures, and pneumatic tools
- Identify and report quality or safety issues; collaborate on resolutions
- Physically and systematically move, assemble, and transact production materials
- Maintain accurate inventory via data entry and cycle counts
- Support labeling, shipping, receiving, and general warehouse tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace suitable for medical device manufacturing
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production or manufacturing (medical device/electronics preferred)
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
- Basic familiarity with mobile devices and touchscreen interfaces
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics AX) and MS Office preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
- Lift 5–20 lbs frequently; up to 20 lbs occasionally
- Frequent reaching above shoulder; occasional reaching below waist
