A Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year to provide support across a K-12 educational setting in Manchester, NH. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic school environment, delivering essential speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify student speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to students needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote effective communication development.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with educational standards.
- Provide consultative services and participate in team meetings to enhance student outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working within K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology assessment tools and therapy techniques.
- Ability to engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
