An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with Emergency Room expertise to work night shifts in a critical access hospital setting. This role requires a seasoned professional comfortable managing the dynamic needs between Emergency Room and Medical-Surgical units, with a strong emphasis on prior charge Nurse experience.

Key Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure with Emergency Room experience
- Previous charge nurse experience required
- Ability to work independently in a flexible, team-focused environment
- Comfortable in a small critical access hospital setting bridging ER and Med-Surg care
- Local candidates within 50 miles preferred, with a rate consideration advantage
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in the ER during night shifts (12-hour shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM)
- Oversee the coordination between Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical services
- Lead and support nursing staff as charge nurse during assigned shifts
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members and patients families
