Audiologist – Outpatient
- Schedule: 35 hours/week | Monday–Friday | Day shift
- Hours: Typically 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM - flexible
- Setting: Outpatient Clinic
- Patient Volume: ~10–12 patients/day
Patient Population
- Adults and pediatrics with hearing loss
- Adults with balance and vestibular disorders
- Outpatient, ambulatory care setting
Technology & Testing
- Audiometry
- Tympanometry
- Hearing aid programming systems
- ABR (Auditory Brainstem Response) – preferred
- VNG (Vestibular testing) – preferred
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 1 year of audiology experience
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Au.D. Audiology Program
- Active Massachusetts Audiologist license
- BLS/CPR (AHA)
Preferred
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A)
- Experience with neonatal ABR and/or vestibular testing (VNG)
Key Responsibilities\n- Perform comprehensive diagnostic audiologic evaluations\n- Conduct vestibular assessments and balance testing\n- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans\n- Provide patient and caregiver education regarding hearing loss and communication strategies\n- Perform hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and programming\n- Review and interpret test results and maintain accurate documentation\n- Collaborate with referring physicians and rehabilitation professionals to coordinate care\n- Ensure compliance with state, hospital, and departmental policies
