• Location: Manchester, New Hampshire (03102) – Access to New England healthcare jobs, city amenities, and scenic outdoor recreation\n
• Unit: Cardiac Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit (HVIU/D200)\n
• Number of Beds: 24-bed PCU\n
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 (days and nights)\n
• Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (12-hour day shifts)\n
• Schedule: Every other weekend required\n
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026)\n
• Hours per Week: 36\n
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,780–$1,910\n
• Employment Type: Travel nursing, on-site\n

\n\nPCU RN Qualifications\n

\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – New Hampshire or compact state\n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or cardiac stepdown nursing\n
• Proficient in telemetry and cardiac monitoring\n
• Experience with post-TAVR, cardiac catheterizations, ablations, Watchman procedures, and cardiac drips\n
• Familiarity with Allscripts electronic documentation system preferred\n

\n\nPCU Nurse Responsibilities\n

\n
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a 24-bed cardiac stepdown/PCU unit\n
• Monitor, interpret, and document telemetry and cardiac rhythms\n
• Care for patients post-procedures including TAVR, ablations, Watchman, STEMI, pacemakers, and CardioMEMS\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team: charge nurses, patient care techs, and monitor techs\n
• Float to similar nursing units as needed\n
• Document all patient care using Allscripts EHR\n
• Provide excellent patient experience and uphold hospital and nursing standards\n
