Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
We are seeking a licensed Pharmacist for a short-term travel assignment in a tribal outpatient/clinic setting located in Indian Island, Maine. This role runs from September 24 through October 6 and offers a unique chance to support Native American communities while gaining meaningful clinical experience in a distinctive setting.
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Provide prescription processing, verification, and direct patient counseling
- Monitor therapies, evaluate medication regimens, and consult with providers
- Counsel patients on usage, side effects, and safety precautions
- Administer vaccinations and ensure accurate documentation
- Support daily pharmacy operations including inventory and ordering
System/Software:
- EHR and RPMS
- ScriptPro & ScriptPro Central
- Pyxis MedStation & CII Safe
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited pharmacy program
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in any U.S. state, territory, or D.C.
- Certificate in Immunizations required
- COVID vaccination preferred
- Prior clinical pharmacy experience strongly preferred
