Join a highly skilled and collaborative urology care team as a Urology Ultrasound Technologist in the scenic Berkshires region of Massachusetts. This is a full-time, weekday role that supports a busy outpatient surgical practice with occasional OR case support. You'll work in a fast-paced environment that values precision, independence, and patient care.

Position Overview:
Youll be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations—including procedural and surgical support—within a high-volume outpatient urology setting. Your role includes preparing patients, setting up sterile equipment, and capturing high-quality diagnostic images independently. Familiarity with hospital systems, PACS, and portable imaging devices is required.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Shift times vary between 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM and 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Flexibility to work outside regular hours for surgical case support

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ultrasound studies in-office and in surgical environments
  • Operate portable imaging equipment
  • Adhere to sterile techniques and prepare sterile trays
  • Accurately document and transmit diagnostic images using PACS
  • Follow departmental protocols and ensure patient safety

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Sonography Technology program
  • Registered Sonographer through ARRT(S) or ARDMS (or eligible within 2 years)
  • CPR certification
  • 3 years of experience as a diagnostic sonographer preferred
  • Experience in urological ultrasound studies strongly preferred

  • Strong understanding of sterile technique in procedural settings
  • Ability to work independently and manage a busy caseload
  • Physical ability to lift/move patients and equipment
  • Comfort working in high-stress, fast-paced clinical environments
