Were looking for an experienced Commercial Kitchen Appliance / Refrigeration Technician to join our team and help keep Vermonts kitchens running smoothly.
What Youll Do
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain hot-side and cold-side commercial kitchen equipment (walk-ins, reach-ins, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, steamers, mixers, grinders, slicers, etc.)
- Perform preventive maintenance and warranty work for leading manufacturers
- Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Communicate clearly with customers and dispatch, document work thoroughly, and represent KC Mechanical professionally
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure efficient, high-quality service
What Were Looking For
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in commercial kitchen appliance repair and/or refrigeration
(More experienced technicians strongly encouraged to apply compensation reflects experience) - EPA Certification (preferred) and strong refrigeration troubleshooting ability
- Experience with mixers, grinders, slicers, and similar equipment a plus
- Working knowledge of electrical or plumbing systems
- Customer-focused mindset, professional communication, and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
