Adecco is hiring a CNC Machine Set-up/Operator for a facility in Laconia, NH. If you are a motivated individual with experience in machining and looking to grow in a manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you! This is a full-time position with opportunities for career advancement. (DIRECT HIRE OR TEMP TO HIRE)


Position: CNC Machine Set-up/Operator
Location: Laconia, NH
Pay Rate: $25+/HR (DOE)
Shift: Monday to Friday
Hours: 2:45 PM to 11:115 PM

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machinery to perform machining operations on metal workpieces, ensuring adherence to specifications.
  • Install preset jobs, set up tooling, fixturing, and machinery as needed.
  • Verify that paperwork, including print number, revision levels, operation sequence, materials, and work orders are all correct and consistent.
  • Perform first piece inspections and ensure parts meet or exceed the required dimensions.
  • Operate machines in an efficient and safe manner, following work instructions, maintaining optimal performance, and meeting production goals.
  • Perform quality audits to ensure products meet customer specifications and standards.
  • Deburr parts according to work instructions.
  • Make necessary adjustments to machines or processes, following proper procedures and obtaining authorization when required.
  • Change worn or broken tooling and assist with machine calibration as needed.
  • Perform duties as a palletizer or presetter and fill in for senior operators when required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards and procedures.


Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-4 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 1 year of experience operating CNC machines.
  • Basic understanding of CNC control functions and programming (G-codes and M-codes).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop math.
  • Knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and technical language.
  • Ability to perform basic work instructions and understand technical communications.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Must be able to lift moderate to heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
