Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract speech-language pathologist is needed to provide direct services to students in grades 2 through 6 at a middle school in Goffstown, NH. This role involves delivering high-quality speech therapy services primarily on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:30 AM to 2:45 PM. The position is designed to support approximately 25 students during the school year, focusing on interim coverage while the current part-time speech pathologist is on leave.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Collaborating with school staff to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student sessions
- Supporting individual student goals as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
- Experience in school-based SLP services, particularly with pediatric populations
- Ability to deliver services in compliance with school and healthcare regulations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with working with students in grades 2-6
