CNC Machinist - $30-35/hr + OT

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating HAAS and Mazak Multi-Axis CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components according to specifications. The ideal candidate will ensure precision and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machine setup and tooling requirements.
- Program CNC machines using G-Code and CAD/CAM software for efficient machining operations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality control checks using precision measurement tools to ensure produced parts meet required tolerances and specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and efficiency in machining operations.
- Select and install appropriate tooling for various machining operations, including milling and turning.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a strong understanding of CNC machine operation and programming.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and G-Code programming.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of precision measurement tools and techniques.
- Experience with Haas CNC and Mazak machines is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
