This opportunity is for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized services within a K-12 educational setting in Meredith, NH. The position is a contract role for the current school year (CSY) and requires an immediate start. This role focuses on supporting student development by addressing motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities necessary for academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions for students across all grade levels (K-12).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Implement therapeutic strategies that enhance student participation in classroom and school activities.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff to support inclusivity and accessibility.
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license and certification.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy assessments and interventions.
