Bachelor's degree, Assistive Technology certification, and 1+ year Assistive Technology Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a Special Education Student Records Clerk, offering approximately 24 hours per week through at least the end of December. This role provides flexibility regarding work days and hours. The position is located in Fall River, MA.
Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining accurate student records, scheduling meetings with parents, and coordinating communications to support the special education department. The role requires strong organizational skills and proficiency in data entry to ensure compliance with documentation standards.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Prior experience working in a school setting, ideally within special education
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with staff, parents, and administrators
- Professional phone etiquette and experience handling phone communications
- Ability to schedule and coordinate meetings with parents and staff
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel spreadsheets, and Google applications for record-keeping and data management
