Job Details
• Operating Room Registered Nurse position at Salem Hospital, part of Mass General Brigham.
• Level III Trauma Operating Room in a complex community setting.
• Patient population includes Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric patients.
• Clinician to patient ratio is 1:1.
• Bed count is 15 with a census of approximately 30-40 patients per day.
• EMR system used is EPIC.
• Skill sets required include basic aseptic technique, circulating independently, and multispecialty competence.

Job Requirements
• Massachusetts RN License required.
• 1-2 years of experience in Operating Room nursing specialty required.
• Basic aseptic technique skills.
• Ability to circulate independently in the OR.
• Multispecialty competence required.

Schedule Information
• 40 hours per week with days, evenings, and weekend rotations.
• Shift times: 7:00am to 5:30pm.
• 1-2 rotations to weekend per 4-week schedule.
• 1-2 rotations to evenings (1pm-11:30pm) per 4-week schedule.
• On call required: 1 holiday call, 2-3 weekday calls per 4-week schedule, 1-2 weekend calls per 4-week schedule.
• Weekend shift includes call from 5:30pm to 11pm after shift.

Additional Details
• Floating is not required.
• Rotating shifts are required for day rotate with 2-3 evening shifts per 4-week schedule.
• Weekend rotation requires 1-2 shifts per 4-week schedule; rotation not required for night shift.
