If holding micron-level tolerances and refining G-code at the control sound like a good day, you’ll feel at home here. We’re a high-activity metal fabrication shop seeking a CNC expert who can set up, program, and run both horizontal and vertical mills—especially Mazak HCN-5000 and Mazak 700 (or similar).
Role overview
You will own the process from setup through first article and production: programming and editing on FANUC controls, validating with precision measurement, and partnering with the team to keep quality high and parts moving—while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
The challenge
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines (horizontal and vertical)
- Create, edit, and optimize FANUC G-code programs at the machine
- Meet demanding tolerances and rigorous quality standards
- Read complex blueprints and technical drawings
- Keep a safe, orderly workspace and help the team hit production goals
What you’ll need to succeed
- Track record on Mazak HCN-5000 or similar horizontal mills (Mazak 700 experience a plus)
- Strong FANUC programming and setup background
- Comfort with precision metrology and blueprint interpretation
- Detail focus and troubleshooting strength
- Ability to work solo when needed and collaborate when it counts
Compensation & hours
Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm | Overtime optional | $30–$35/hr+
