Waypoint is seeking a dynamic and relational Director of Health, Wellbeing, and Independence to lead a portfolio of essential community-based programs that empower individuals to live with dignity, autonomy, and purpose.
This is a key leadership opportunity for an experienced professional who combines strategic vision with a people-centered approach to service delivery, team development, and program growth.
About the Role
The Director of Health, Wellbeing, and Independence is responsible for the overall quality, integrity, and effectiveness of all services within the department. This includes leadership of home care, care management, and wellness programming; fiscal oversight and fund development; and ensuring compliance with state and federal standards.
This role offers the opportunity to shape innovative service models that respond to community needs while fostering a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree required (nursing, public health, healthcare administration, social services, or related field).

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in community-based care, home care, public health, disability services, or long-term care.

Proven record in program development, fiscal management, and staff leadership.

Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, relationship building, and strategic planning.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and partnership engagement.

Proficient with data management and reporting systems (Therap, Power BI, or similar).

Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and compliance with agency insurance requirements.
