Location: Boston, MA | 4-5 days onsite/week
Salary Range: Up to $60K
Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 9-5 | Occasional overtime
About the Role
A respected law firm is seeking a detail-oriented Conflicts Analyst to join its growing team. This role will be responsible for conducting conflict of interest searches, analyzing new client business, and supporting matter openings. It is a key position that ensures compliance with firm policies and promotes efficiency within the Central Files and Records Department.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in a legal environment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; ability to learn new applications
- Knowledge of Aderant RMS preferred
- Strong research, analytical, and proofreading skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Proactive problem-solver with initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Collaborative team player with a customer service focus
Key Responsibilities
- Perform conflict of interest searches for attorneys and administrative staff
- Research individual and corporate names in internal and external databases to identify organizational relationships
- Prepare and finalize conflict check reports using the firm’s conflicts database
- Communicate with attorneys and staff regarding results and missing information
- Distribute daily new matter reports and ensure proper matter opening procedures
- Assist with ongoing data maintenance projects to ensure accuracy of conflicts systems
- Support special projects and other duties related to the Central Files Department
