Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Contoocook, NH to bring on a CNC Machinist Level II or Level III for 2nd shift. This position is full time with overtime eligibility and offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-precision parts.
Position: CNC Machinist Level II (or III)
Shift: 2nd Shift – Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (10-hour shifts, OT eligible)
Pay: $27.00–$34.00 per hour, depending on experience
Duties / Responsibilities
• Perform intermediate to complex machining and programming activities within company capabilities
• Set up and run high-end jobs on 3-axis, 5-axis CNC machines and/or lathes
• Modify existing CNC programs to improve efficiency and performance
• Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced machinists
• Inspect parts to prints and CAD models using various inspection techniques
• Design basic fixtures to support machining processes
• Identify and recommend process improvement opportunities
• Assist with cleaning and preventative maintenance of machines, tools, and workstations
• Wear appropriate PPE for all assigned tasks
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3 years of CNC programming and/or machining experience
• Degree in Machine Tool, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred
• Proficiency with CNC machining fundamentals and setups
• Moderate experience with WinMax and/or Mastercam programming software
• Working knowledge of G-code
• Experience using SolidWorks or similar CAD software
• Experience with 3-axis, 5-axis, and/or lathe machining
• Knowledge of complex fixturing techniques
• Understanding of high-tolerance machining and GD&T
• Strong math, measurement, and shop mechanics skills
• Experience machining multiple types of materials
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs throughout the workday
• Ability to bend, kneel, and crouch as needed
• Ability to use hands and fingers to operate machinery, tools, and inspection equipment
• Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Fast-paced production environment

Pay Details: $27.00 to $34.00 per hour
