Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and computer-savvy Electronic Prepress/CTP Operator to join our Prepress team at Cummings Printing. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing digital files for print production, ensuring that all materials meet our high standards of quality and accuracy. Prior experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Kodak Prinergy, and related applications is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant software to prepare digital files for print production.
- Operate Computer-to-Plate (CTP) equipment to produce high-quality printing plates.
- Inspect files and finished plates for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to client specifications.
- Collaborate with the Prepress team to manage workflow and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Maintain equipment and work areas, ensuring they remain clean, organized, and in good working order.
- Stay current with industry developments and advancements in Prepress technology.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications, with knowledge of Kodak Prinergy and related software being a plus.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to effectively collaborate with colleagues and meet client needs.

- Full-time position with an expected 40-hour workweek.
