Job DescriptionJob Title: Manufacturing Technicians – 1st & 3rd Shift (Multiple Openings | Temp to Perm)
Location: Manchester, NH
Pay Rate: $22/hr (Based on experience)
Type: 6 months Temp-to-Hire
Schedule: 9/80 Schedule (every other Friday off)Available Shifts
- 1st Shift – Cleanroom (2 openings)
Working inside a controlled cleanroom environment assembling medical device components. - 3rd Shift – Cleanroom (3 openings)
Overnight cleanroom assembly of medical devices and disposable components. - 1st Shift – Durables (12 openings)
Bench-level assembly and testing of durable medical device products (non-cleanroom).
3rd Shift Core Hours: Sunday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 6:00 AMOverviewWe are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technicians to join our team across multiple shifts on a 9/80 schedule. This role is ideal for self-sufficient technicians with hands-on experience in assembly, testing, and documentation of mechanical and electrical assemblies. You’ll play a key role in assembling medical devices and ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency in both cleanroom and bench-assembly environments.Key Responsibilities
- Assemble plastic and metal components into medical devices per approved procedures.
- Operate small hand tools (manual and electric), presses, assembly fixtures, calibrated instruments, microscopes, and test fixtures.
- Follow Bills of Materials, work orders, check sheets, flow charts, and assembly drawings to build product and record results.
- Perform soldering, crimping, ultrasonic welding, bonding, gluing, and other assembly techniques.
- Conduct kitting activities using scanners and inventory software.
- Complete startup and end-of-day equipment inspections and verifications.
- Inspect assemblies throughout the process and communicate quality or operational issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; actively participate in safety programs.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives as part of cross-functional teams.
- Collaborate with Engineers and line leads to resolve issues and update procedures.
- Ensure compliance with ISO, QSR, FDA regulations, and company manufacturing policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation for quality checks, WIP, test results, and labor reporting.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with assembly, testing, and documentation of mechanical/electrical devices.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Preferred: Medical device manufacturing experience.
- Plus: Knowledge of medical device regulatory procedures, lean manufacturing, and GMP.
Work Environment
- Cleanroom: Fully controlled, gown-up environment where sterile manufacturing and assembly take place.
- Durables: Bench-level assembly area focused on durable, reusable device components with hands-on mechanical and electrical work.
