- Duration: 13-week travel assignment\n
- Hours per Week: 36 (72 hours biweekly guaranteed)\n
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a), every other weekend & holiday\n
- Self-scheduling: Yes, with schedule balancing\n
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2150 - $2300 per week\n
\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts or compact state)\n
- BLS certification required\n
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience\n
- Experience floating between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units preferred\n
- Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays\n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills\n
- Travel RNs only (no local candidates)\n
\n\nMed/Surg RN Responsibilities\n

- Deliver high-quality patient care in both Med/Surg and Telemetry units\n
- Float between Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units as needed\n
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and document nursing care accurately\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes\n
- Maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios (5:1 days/evenings, 6:1 nights for Med/Surg; 4:1 days/evenings, 5:1 nights for Telemetry)\n
- Participate in self-scheduling and communicate special scheduling requests\n
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures\n
