Certified Pharmacy Technician Evening Shift (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Foxborough, MA
Pharmacy Setting: Closed-Door | Long-Term Care
Start Date: ASAP

An established long-term care pharmacy in Foxborough is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician for the second shift. This is a 13+ week contract with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position. Were looking for candidates who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and are ready to contribute right away.

Key Information:

• Facility Type: Closed-door LTC pharmacy

• System Used: Frameworks (training available if needed)

• Prescription Volume: ~600 prescriptions daily

• Start Date: Immediate openings

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in proper packaging formats (e.g., blister packs, unit dose) for timely distribution

• Receive, organize, and stock inventory, ensuring compliance with expiration dates and storage guidelines

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate records for medications and patient profiles

• Support pharmacy operations as part of a team focused on precision and speed

Schedule Options:

• Weekdays:

• 2:00 PM 10:00 PM OR

• 4:00 PM 12:00 AM

• Weekends:

• 9:00 AM 7:00 PM (1 weekend per month required)

• Open to reviewing availability for alternative shifts let us know your preference

  Required Credentials:

  • Current, active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License

  • PTCB Certification required

  • Prior pharmacy experience strongly preferred

  • Must be adaptable, quick, and comfortable handling a high daily volume of prescriptions

  Compensation:

  • Pay Rate: $21$23/hour, based on experience and qualifications
