Overview
CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer – Java Springboot opening for our client in Quincy, MA.
Location: Quincy, MA
Duration: 12 months
Duties:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Java and Springboot.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

Enhance and maintain legacy applications built with ColdFusion.

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and non-production application issues.

Support application deployments and conduct post-deployment testing and validation.
Skills:
-
Proficiency in Java and Springboot framework.
-
Experience with ColdFusion for maintaining legacy applications.
-
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
-
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
-
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
-
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal communication abilities.
Experience:
-
3+ years of experience in Java application development with Springboot.
-
Experience working in Agile environments.
-
Prior experience with ColdFusion is a plus.

Proven ability to write unit and integration tests.
-
Experience with version control systems such as Git.
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
