Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to provide physical therapy services in an early childhood and elementary school setting located in Cambridge, MA. The role is per diem with a school year duration, supporting young students in achieving their physical development goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one re-evaluation for a twin male and female pair who have just turned 3 years old
  • Deliver high-quality physical therapy interventions tailored to the needs of early childhood and elementary-aged students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized service plans
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate and confidential records
  • Provide consultative support to school staff regarding strategies to enhance student mobility and function within the school environment

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Physical Therapist with experience working in school settings, particularly with early childhood and elementary populations
  • Skilled in pediatric physical therapy assessments and interventions
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive re-evaluations and develop effective treatment plans
  • Strong communication skills and capacity to work collaboratively with school teams and families
  • Understanding of educational and developmental milestones specific to early childhood

Location: Cambridge, MA
Duration: Per Diem, school year contract
