We are a busy, relationship-driven boutique real estate law practice handling residential and light commercial transactions throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. We work closely with agents, lenders, and clients and take pride in being the calm, organized presence that gets deals to the finish line.
We are growing and looking for the right person to join our team in either a part-time or full-time capacity.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Real Estate Paralegal with strong experience preparing and reviewing title commitments who also brings a warm, professional personality to client and partner interactions.
This role is ideal for someone who knows how to run title, clear issues, and keep files moving — while also fitting into a boutique environment where communication and service matter just as much as technical skill.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review title commitments independently
- Order and analyze title, municipal lien certificates, and payoffs
- Identify and help clear title issues
- Prepare closing packages and documents
- Draft deeds, affidavits, and standard closing documents
- Coordinate with lenders, agents, and clients
- Track deadlines and keep transactions organized
- Assist with settlement statements and figures
- Support closings (in-office and occasional off-site)
- Handle post-closing and recording tasks
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience preparing title commitments
- Real estate paralegal or conveyancing experience
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple files
- Professional communication skills
- Friendly, team-oriented personality
Preferred:
- Experience in a Massachusetts real estate practice
- Familiarity with Qualia or similar software
- Ability to work semi-independently
- Experience with residential closings
