- Shift: Night shifts, 12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 3 shifts/week (36 hours/week)\n
- Patient Ratios: 1:4-5\n
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend\n
- Start Date: January 19, 2026\n
- End Date: April 20, 2026\n
- Scrub Color: Any color (no jean material)\n
- Parking: Free parking available\n
\n\nER RN Qualifications\n
- \n
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience\n
- Active Massachusetts RN license (valid at time of submission)\n
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS\n
- Experience with Cerner or Epic charting systems preferred\n
- Ability to manage 1:4-5 patient ratios in a fast-paced ER setting\n
- Community hospital experience preferred\n
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical exemption for flu only)\n
- First-time travel nurses accepted with 2-3 years of ER experience and Cerner/Epic proficiency\n
\n\nEmergency Room Nurse Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages in a busy Emergency Department\n
- Perform triage, patient assessment, and prioritize care in acute situations\n
- Administer blood products, IV vasopressors, and sedation as needed\n
- Manage central lines, CPAP/BiPAP, and continuous IV sedation\n
- Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias\n
- Implement isolation precautions and uphold infection control standards\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and social services\n
- Accurately document patient care using Cerner charting system\n
- Work scheduled every other weekend as required\n
