Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school in Methuen, MA. This contract role runs for the current school year (CSY) and offers an opportunity to work onsite with elementary and middle school students, focusing on grades 5 through 8. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students within the school setting
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student goals
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation of student progress
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts SLP License
- DESE Certification for school-based speech-language pathology
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational and healthcare settings
- Knowledge of K-12 school environments, particularly with elementary and middle school students
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required
