This opportunity seeks a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a strong background in pediatric and school-based settings to support students in elementary grades K-4. The role is designed for an experienced professional holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and relevant Massachusetts state licensure, alongside DESE certification.
Situated in the Lowell, MA area, this contract position involves working full-time, approximately 37.5 hours per week, within elementary schools serving a variety of disabilities. The caseload primarily includes young learners requiring speech and language interventions tailored to individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language evaluations and individualized therapy services for K-4 students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation compliant with school and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license and DESE certification.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Recent experience in a school-based pediatric setting preferred.
- Ability to manage a full caseload and deliver evidence-based interventions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational staff.
