INTEGRA Biosciences Corporation is an industry leader in innovative liquid handling products for the medical diagnostics, pharmaceutical, biotech, and food industries. The Field Calibration Technician provides on-site calibration and maintenance services ensuring customers' pipettes are calibrated to the highest standards to help maintain accuracy and compliance. The territory for this role is Boston/Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform on-site calibration, maintenance, and minor repairs of handheld pipettes at customer locations.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of pipettes.
- Document and maintain records of calibration results and service activities in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
- Manage service appointments, travel to customer sites, and ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Collaborate with the broader service team to continually improve service processes and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of INTEGRA’s pipette products and calibration standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- One year experience in field service, calibration, or technical support, preferably in a laboratory or life sciences environment. Pipette calibration experience preferred.
- Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory compliance in the life sciences industry preferred
- Proficiency in using calibration software and tools.
- Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication with a customer-centric approach
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Willingness to travel within the territory of Boston/Cambridge, Massachusetts. Occasional travel outside the region may be required.
- Valid driver’s license.
