Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to provide specialized support to elementary students within a public school setting in Weymouth, MA. This contract role offers an opportunity to work directly with children to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, enhancing their academic and social success.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to elementary students
  • Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to school policies and regulations
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional insights

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility within the state
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children in school environments
  • Strong assessment and intervention skills for a range of speech and language disorders
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams

Additional Information:

  • Full-time schedule, approximately 6.5 hours per day

  • Open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates with relevant experience
