Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available to support K-12 students in a school located approximately 20 minutes outside of Boston, MA. This contract role covers a maternity leave assignment starting around March 26 through June 12, with the possibility of Extended School Year (ESY) work if desired.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12 in a school setting
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Adapting therapy activities to meet the diverse needs of students
Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with current credentials valid in Massachusetts
- Prior experience working within school systems, particularly with K-12 populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop creative, student-centered therapy interventions
