Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role involves providing specialized occupational therapy services within a K-12 school setting, focusing primarily on school-based interventions. The position is a contract opportunity for the current school year, located in the Boston, MA area with in-home services provided in Andover.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to students in a K-12 environment
- Providing two 60-minute in-home therapy sessions per week in Andover
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitoring and documenting student progress in accordance with school policies
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) with experience in school-based settings
- Familiarity with K-12 developmental and educational requirements
- Ability to conduct in-home therapy sessions effectively
- Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff
- Flexibility to manage both school and in-home service schedules
