Location: Concord, MA 01742
Pay: $80–$85 per hour
Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week, no weekends, no holidays, no call
Contract: 09/22/2025 to 12/20/2025, 13 weeks

Job summary
The Nurse Educator supports the Labor & Delivery unit through staff education and development. You will assess learning needs, plan and deliver training, and evaluate outcomes. This role ensures evidence-based practice, staff competency, and a collaborative environment for optimal patient care.
Key responsibilities
• Work with the Director of Obstetrical Nursing to identify and meet staff learning needs
• Plan and implement annual education and competency review programs
• Develop tools to evaluate training effectiveness
• Oversee new staff orientation and support ongoing staff development
• Participate in hospital committees and community education initiatives
• Act as a resource, consultant, and role model for clinical staff
• Ensure compliance with professional and credentialing standards
Minimum qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field required, Master's degree preferred
• At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with 3 years in maternity/OB
• Active Massachusetts RN license
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• BLS and NRP Instructor certifications
