About the Opportunity
ProCareis seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. We are flexible in our hiring and are open to both full-time (5 days/week) and part-time (3 days/week) candidates, offering a role that can adapt to your availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students across Kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans to address a wide range of communication disorders, including articulation, phonology, receptive/expressive language, fluency, voice, and social communication.
- Providing direct and indirect therapy services to students in individual, small group, and classroom-based settings.
- Collaborating effectively with general and special education teachers, parents, school psychologists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of evaluations, progress notes, IEPs, and all other required reports.
- Participating actively in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations for student success.
- Adapting therapy activities and strategies to suit the developmental stages, learning styles, and diverse needs of students.
- Staying current with best practices, research, and advancements in school-based speech-language pathology.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of New Hampshire.
- New Hampshire Department of Education (DOE) Certification is required.
- Experience working with a K-12 student population is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the IEP process and school-based service delivery models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- A genuine commitment to fostering inclusive educational environments and empowering students to reach their full communication potential.
