Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Educator for a Family Birthplace unit focused on OR circulation for C-sections, requiring a MA RN license and strong perinatal experience.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Position is in the Family Birthplace unit with a focus on operating room circulation for C-sections
- Schedule consists of 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Experience with Meditech Expanse is strongly preferred
- Primary responsibility is educating operating room circulation for C-section procedures
- Holiday coverage is part of the expected schedule
- No travelers residing within 50 miles of the facility will be considered
- No more than 3 days of requested time off will be accepted during the assignment
- Must submit proof of permanent address and required documents at time of consideration
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment is required
- First-time travelers will be considered if all requirements are met
- Scrub or dress code will be specified by the unit upon start

- Active Massachusetts RN license in hand at time of consideration
- BSN or higher degree required
- Current certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NRP, all in hand
- Minimum 3 years of RN Educator experience in the perinatal field required
- High proficiency in L&D or circulating for C-sections is required; straight L&D only backgrounds will not be considered
- Experience educating on circulating in the OR for C-sections is required
- Must have a personal vehicle for the assignment
- 8 hours of non-billable orientation required
- COVID vaccination with dose on or after 10/3/23, or approved exemption with mask requirement
