An experienced Registered Nurse with medical-surgical expertise is needed for a contract role in Cambridge, MA. This position supports multiple inpatient units, providing critical patient care across telemetry and med-surgical floors with a focus on flexibility and adaptability.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Float between three inpatient units, including telemetry and med-surgical areas.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, preferably using Meditech Expanse 6 EMR.
• Participate in orientation sessions and holiday coverage as required.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Massachusetts nursing license (permanent).
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in medical-surgical specialty.
• Previous travel nursing experience is required.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.
• Ability to provide recent references, including charge or manager RN references.
• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse 6 EMR preferred but not mandatory.
• Must submit an up-to-date resume, references, skills checklist, certifications, and requested travel time off details at the time of application.

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts, 7 PM to 7 AM.
• Orientation dates available: January 14 and January 28.
• Coverage includes holidays.
