Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students within a unique educational program designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This role focuses on delivering personalized, skill-building therapeutic services in a non-traditional school setting.

Location:

  • Ludlow, Massachusetts (assignment site)
  • West Springfield is the clients main office location

Position Details:

  • School Year: 2026/2027 (Exact calendar pending but estimated from August 27, 2026, to June 22, 2027)
  • Weekly Hours: 32.5
  • Setting: High school environment serving the Compass High Program
  • Caseload: Working predominantly with high school students, the SLP will supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to implement therapy plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students with ASD and other learning differences
  • Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support student communication goals within the Compass High Program
  • Supervise and mentor the SLPA to ensure quality support and consistent therapeutic interventions
  • Maintain compliance with all state licensure and school requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working in school settings, especially with high school students
  • Familiarity with developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a specialized educational team
