Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A specialized opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students within a unique educational program designed for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and other learning differences. This role focuses on delivering personalized, skill-building therapeutic services in a non-traditional school setting.
Location:
- Ludlow, Massachusetts (assignment site)
- West Springfield is the clients main office location
Position Details:
- School Year: 2026/2027 (Exact calendar pending but estimated from August 27, 2026, to June 22, 2027)
- Weekly Hours: 32.5
- Setting: High school environment serving the Compass High Program
- Caseload: Working predominantly with high school students, the SLP will supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to implement therapy plans.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students with ASD and other learning differences
- Collaborate with educators and other specialists to support student communication goals within the Compass High Program
- Supervise and mentor the SLPA to ensure quality support and consistent therapeutic interventions
- Maintain compliance with all state licensure and school requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings, especially with high school students
- Familiarity with developmental disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Ability to work collaboratively within a specialized educational team
