Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain and support production equipment
  • Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives across plant manufacturing operations
  • Assist in product design efforts with a focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) parts and processes
  • Analyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency using Lean manufacturing techniques
  • Recommend, justify, and implement new equipment and process installations
  • Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings; establish feeds, speeds, cycle times, and other operating parameters for various equipment
  • Support production personnel in troubleshooting process and quality issues
  • Define and establish manufacturing engineering requirements related to machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods, processes, and routings
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Technology
  • 5+ years of experience with manufacturing technologies, processes, methods, machining, and assembly
  • 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing operations, product lines, or production practices
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Clear, professional, and respectful verbal and written communication skills within a collaborative and inclusivework environment
  • Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies
  • Experience with electrical-mechanical assembly
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, production teams, and external vendors
