Job Description
What You’ll Do:
- Maintain and support production equipment
- Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives across plant manufacturing operations
- Assist in product design efforts with a focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) parts and processes
- Analyze, review, and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency using Lean manufacturing techniques
- Recommend, justify, and implement new equipment and process installations
- Prepare routings, process sheets, work instructions, and process drawings; establish feeds, speeds, cycle times, and other operating parameters for various equipment
- Support production personnel in troubleshooting process and quality issues
- Define and establish manufacturing engineering requirements related to machinery, equipment, tooling, manufacturing methods, processes, and routings
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as required
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Technology
- 5+ years of experience with manufacturing technologies, processes, methods, machining, and assembly
- 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing operations, product lines, or production practices
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Clear, professional, and respectful verbal and written communication skills within a collaborative and inclusivework environment
- Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies
- Experience with electrical-mechanical assembly
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, production teams, and external vendors
