Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist to work with elementary students in a full-time capacity. This position focuses on providing direct speech and language services, supporting young learners in their communication development within a school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Provide consultation and strategies to classroom teachers to facilitate communication growth.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school environment is preferred.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates with Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification are encouraged to apply.
