A healthcare opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technician to support imaging services at a medical facility in Lynn, MA. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in a radiology setting with an emphasis on precision and teamwork.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on interventional radiology techniques.
  • Collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging results.
  • Maintaining and operating radiology equipment, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assisting with emergency patient management when necessary.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of medical-surgical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in critical care preferred.
  • Proficient in IV placement and emergency response protocols.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts with a current BLS certification; ACLS certification is preferred.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is highly desirable.
  • Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday, four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 am to 5:30 pm).
  • Patient care ratio approximately 1:2, managing a census of 1-2 patients.
