Job Description

Job DescriptionAdecco is assisting our client in their search for an experienced Maintenance/Instrumentation & Control Technician to support automation, system optimization, and technical troubleshooting in a high-performing manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, program, and maintain instrumentation, control devices, and automation systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA).
  • Perform inspections, calibrations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on equipment and control systems.
  • Troubleshoot faults and minimize production downtime.
  • Collaborate on maintenance procedures, SOPs, and system upgrades.
  • Support electrical and mechanical installations, including network connections.
  • Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Develop critical point checklists, user manuals, and training for operators and technicians.
  • Document maintenance activities and support compliance with GMP, Food Safety, and plant policies.
  • Mentor maintenance staff and support knowledge transfer.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in food manufacturing with control system programming, testing, and commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, sensors, actuators, and network communications (Ethernet/IP).
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and process optimization.
  • Team player with flexibility to meet production demands.

Pay Details: $26.00 to $35.00 per hour
