About the role

Seeking a dependable Packager to support production on the POC Meter Line. This role focuses on accurate packaging, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to smooth, efficient workflow. Ideal for someone detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What you’ll do

  • POC Meter Packaging: work with a computer and industrial printers to correctly package several different types of products.
  • Work with barcode scanners, printers, air-pack filling equipment and computers.
  • Work with Windows applications to scan serial numbers, apply carton and over-pack labels, interpret work orders to set up the Line for packaging, fill out paper work.
  • Read and follow procedures and drawings for packaging.
  • Work within group and with management to generate and enact continuous improvement initiatives.

What we are looking for in you

  • High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • More than 1 year of relevant manufacturing or production experience.
  • Able to read and speak English.
  • Ability to read, follow, and explain the procedures/drawings being used.
  • Ability to quickly verify serial numbers and apply labeling.
  • A good understanding of quality control and the ability to recognize defects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervision and engineering.
  • Able to understand and complete paperwork correctly.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • General mechanical aptitude.

Physical Requirements for this role include:

  • Ability to stand or sit while working for extended periods of time.
  • Must be capable of lifting 20 lbs without issue.
  • Must be capable of reading small text/numbers quickly.

Work Location: On-site in Billerica, Lexington Road location

Schedule/Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Targeted Salary Range:$20/hour
