$500 Sign On Bonus ($250 at the completion of the first week of training and $250 after successful completion of first 90 days)
Position: Technology Assistance Specialist 2
Location: Holyoke, MA
Hours: 40 Hours per week; Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm with flexibility
Rate of Pay: $24.76 Per Hour
Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s Degree in Computer Science, Technology, or a related field, or a relevant certification plus one year of professional or personal experience.

Skills & Knowledge:
-
Working knowledge of Virtual Reality (VR) Headsets, iPads, internet, and Wi-Fi.

Proficient in the installation, troubleshooting, training, and implementation of technology systems.

Strong understanding of VR software applications.

Job Description:
The Technology Program Specialist provides support and training to individuals and programs utilizing technology to enhance employment services. This role works independently, leveraging previous experience while receiving limited supervision. The specialist will facilitate training sessions, maintain technology systems, and support the seamless operation of technology tools for program members.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, set up, and update hardware and software for classroom and lab use.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with hardware, software, internet connectivity, and Wi-Fi systems.

Collaborate with Employment Specialists to meet program needs.

Travel to various sites for meetings, training, and conferences as required.

Facilitate lessons with clear objectives and document outcomes for participants.

Maintain records of equipment location, distribution, and maintenance in an agency log.

Understand and apply Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate and document program outcomes.
Requirements:

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.

Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
