Position Title: Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA)
Facility: New Hampshire Veterans Home
Location: 139 Winter Street, Tilton, NH 03276
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $33/hour
Position Summary
The Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) provides direct patient care and support services under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. This role focuses on assisting residents with daily living activities, promoting comfort and safety, and supporting overall patient well-being in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and minor treatment procedures as directed by nursing staff

Support residents’ adjustment to their living environment and encourage positive interpersonal relationships

Supervise and engage residents in group activities to maintain functional abilities and quality of life

Provide basic nursing care, including taking vital signs and collecting specimens for routine laboratory testing

Maintain resident cleanliness, nourishment, emotional comfort, and sensory stimulation activities

Observe, document, and report patient conditions and changes to the shift supervisor

Follow infection control practices and universal precautions to prevent the spread of infection

Qualifications

Active Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification in New Hampshire

Ability to work the assigned 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM shift
