Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Description: Performs feeder set up and breakdown, loading and scanning feeders on pick and place equipment, loading, unloading and scanning PCB's on pick and place equipment and loading loose components on PCB's. Works well with others in a respectful and team aspiring manner.
- Set-up, operation, and maintenance of various surface mount equipment.
- Other duties as requested, directed or assigned
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of printed circuit board surface mount assembly experience.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to work unsupervised and be knowledgeable of surface mount assembly of printed circuit boards.
- Knowledge of different assembly specifications (IPC-A-610, etc.)
- Must have knowledge of component identification.
- Ability to read written and computerized instructions.
- Ability to fill out proper paperwork for as required.
- Basic computer and machine operation skills.
- Ability to operate machinery.

- ESD training
- RoHS Leadfree training

- General Safety
Physical Demands:
- Able sit or stand for extended periods of time and move easily around machinery.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

As an SMT Operator, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, specializing in surface mount technology and assembly of electronic components. Reporting to the SMT Manager, your role involves operating pick & place devices and ensuring adherence to IPC-610 standards. You will utilize your core skills in soldering and electrical wiring, while your premium knowledge of PCB and programmable logic controllers will enhance production efficiency. With a high school diploma or GED and relevant mechanical and electrical experience, you will contribute to maintaining high-quality standards in our dynamic manufacturing environment.
