Senior Electrical Controls Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Controls Engineer to assist with engineering projects, focusing on the design, development, and implementation of advanced control systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation and a strong background in control systems engineering, playing a key role in enhancing our capabilities and driving innovation in our projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of control systems for various applications.
- Program and configure PLCs for automation processes.
- Develop and maintain SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HMI systems into control solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in automation systems.
- Design and analyze electrical circuits and power systems for control applications.
- Work on instrumentation selection and integration for control systems.
- Utilize Matlab and Simulink for modeling and simulation of control strategies.
- Develop embedded systems for specific control applications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in controls engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency in control systems, PLC programming, and SCADA technology.
- Strong understanding of industrial automation principles and practices.
- Experience with HMI development and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of circuit design and power systems.
- Familiarity with instrumentation in industrial settings.
- Experience with Matlab and Simulink for control system design and simulation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
