In this position you will be an integral member of the team that creates distinctive and authentic experiences for our guests, striving to exceed expectations. You will warmly and enthusiastically welcome guests, assisting them with checking in, using guest names whenever possible. You will promote The Lake Estate services and amenities as well as provide information on local attractions and dining. This is a fast-paced environment that requires multi-tasking while having an impeccable eye for detail to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure and provide flawless, upscale, professional and high-class service for The Lake Estate guests throughout their stay.
  • Check in guests in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible.
  • Check guests out at the end of their stay, ascertaining guest satisfaction and settling the bill accurately.
  • Promptly respond to guests' needs and anticipate their unstated ones.
  • Courteously handle incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency, making reservations and communicating effectively with other departments.
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate what you see and hear to staff and management to ensure the guests' needs are met and expectations exceeded.

Education and Skills:

  • A qualified applicant is a "people person" who is flexible with their schedule, loves to serve others, and knows how to multi-task while ensuring accuracy.
  • Previous experience within the Front Office of a luxury resort is preferred, passionately providing service to others.
  • This is a demanding business, and we look for flexibility with workdays and hours, but it's also a lot of fun! Evenings/weekends/holidays are a must, but every effort will be made to ensure time off requests are met.
  • Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and through legible and grammatically correct writing in a clear and concise, professional manner.
  • People Person. The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.
