Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2026-2027 school year to support a specialized high school program in Ludlow, MA. This contract role focuses on providing speech and language services within a unique learning environment designed for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other learning differences. The program emphasizes personalized and supportive education aimed at fostering independence and skill development beyond traditional classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language pathology services to high school students enrolled in the Compass High Program.
  • Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) within the program.
  • Collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to meet goals.
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and documentation standards.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with applicable state requirements.
  • Experience working with adolescents, particularly those with ASD or related learning challenges.
  • Familiarity with supervising SLPAs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong organizational ability and attention to documentation.

Position Details:

  • Location: Ludlow, MA (clients main office in West Springfield)
  • Setting: High school specialized program
  • Hours: Approximately 32.5 hours per week
  • Contract Duration: August 27, 2026, to June 22, 2027 (dates estimated)
  • Caseload: High school students in a specialized setting targeting skill development for independence
